Free Grand Slam!

I've decided that I detest this picture of me, but I had such a good day with these guys I had to post it. We'll as most of RFA knows, Denny's had free grand slams today. And we totally took them up on their offer. I ended up skipping a study hall to bounce out and get the slam with these crazy kids. First, we proceeded to almost get hit by a huge tundra truck. Apparently the guys name is "Bicycle Bill" and he later apologized! Bahahaha. I think he wanted to come sit with us and have us tell him our life story. He asked Shane about the military, asked Ashley and I where we were going to college, and asked Avery NOTHING! haha. After Denny's we putzed around in Walmart and had awkward moments. We took this picture in the Walmart parking lot.
About the People in this picture:
Ashley: She's the only other girl in the picture besides myself. She's such a doll and so funny. I don't know her too well, and I've only hung out with her a handfull of times, but i've known her forever. Anyways, she's really nice! :)
Avery: He's the boy with half his face cut off in this picture! I'm just starting to get close to him. He's so kind, crazy, and ridiculous, a good ridiculous. He always does something stupid to make me laugh or feel better. I know he's always around if I need to talk, and visa versa. He plans on going into the Military and move to Florida, and I know i'm going to miss him a ton! He's such a good kid, and i'm lucky to have him in my life!
Shane: he's the guy with the scarf. Oh where do I start talking about this kid?! I thank my lucky stars everyday he's in my life! He's one of my best friends in the whole world! I love him so much it's retarded! ;) He has a way of making me feel better when I feel like complete shit. I don't think we ever run out of things to talk about! We are always complete dorks when we're around eachother, whether it's making funny faces, or coming up with dumb sayings. He hasn't been one of my best friends for long, but I'm sure glad he's around! He's going into the air force and leaving here as is Avery. I'm really bumming that they're leaving, but I know they're great guys and are going to make great lives for themselves. Even though they're leaving, I know they'll make it. I'm very proud of both of them for bettering themselves.

First Post!

So after some slight inspiration from my cousin Lisa, i've decided to record my life through pictures for the next year, and if I enjoy this, maybe for longer.
The picture above is obviously my tattoo on my foot. This tattoo symbolizes family. My cousin Lisa has a matching one.
So I guess, maybe i'll tell you about myself. I'm a senior in highschool and at a crazy point in my life. I recently quit a job that i've been at for years, to work at a coffee shop. And let me tell you, I love being a barista.
I go to a technical school in my area to become a hairdresser. I have such a passion for hair, that I sometimes think i'm nuts. :) I'm planning on going to the local community college and living at home for a year after graduation, then i'm trasfering to the University of Phoenix online and moving to a suburb of San Diego California.
Another thing I love is deffinately music, I may just be addicted! I listen to 91x San Diego over a live stream just about every day. I love all types of music and am a modern day hippy. I don't watch a ton of tv, but I really enjoy MTV. I find their show the Buried Life to be amazingly inspirational. I'm actually watching it right now! Plus, the boys on this show are amazingly gorgeous!
Family and friends are a huge part of my life! I don't have a tradional huge family, but my family is still amazing. My mom is single handedly my best friend. She's a mama bear in the best sense of the word. We're very close. My cousin Lisa, her husband Danny, and their 3 kids are a HUGE part of my life. They do so much for me, and when I'm with them I feel like I have a huge family. I also have a brother and sister i'm close to. :)

As you can see, I'm extremely lucky. Is my life easy? Absolutely not. But, I truck along and make it the best I can. :)
